Rachel attended Arizona State University, and majored in Interdisciplinary Studies with an emphasis in Business and Spanish. She was a member of Pi Beta Phi, and served on the executive board as Secretary.

After college, she moved to New York City to work for TD Waterhouse. After a year, Rachel moved back to San Diego to begin working for Wells Fargo Home Mortgage. After three successful years, she was recruited for a prestigious position with Countrywide Home Loans. Rachel currently lives in downtown San Diego. She enjoys reading, working out, spending time with her boyfriend Cesar, friends and family, and continuing to dedicate time on various philanthropic events and initiatives.
